We have had VAM (no print portion installed) for some time and we are happy with the ease of scheduling time on the PCs at our library. However, I have never been able to collect any usage statistics-- we do not hand out IDs and passwords--each user creates his own...I have asked about statistics and couldn't seem to follow the directions for "locating" the info.

Can someone provide some simple instructions?

Thanks,

In the VAMReports\program files\Vendprint Access Manager folder of your VAM CD, you will find a VAMReports database. Move this to the desktop of your server/admin station. Double-click on the database then select Open from the Security Warning window. When the database opens, you’ll enter the date range of the time period that you want to run the statistics for and select which report you’d like to run. It sounds like you probably want to run the Workstation Activity or Workstation Session Count. Next, select Preview Report to see the stats.

You will need to have Microsoft Access installed on the pc that you are running the reports from.
