Some ways Vendprint can be improved:

1. Ability to cancel more than 1 job at a time (especially at override stations)

2. Ability to turn off password case sensitivity. (many patrons forget that they had capital letters in their passwords and swear that they are typing in the right password - they are but because of case sensitivity it does not work)

3. Many patrons are used to double clicking. When they double click their job in the list of jobs at the release station it actually selects the job and then deselects it which is confusing.

4. Ability to change the columns size to a customizable width on the release stations.

5. Ability to have computer name aliases. Because computer names can be confusing to anyone not in an IT department, displaying the computer name on the release station only confuses the patron. If Vendprint had a way to take the complicated computer name and display something simple on the release station that patron could easily recognize would be a great feature and upgrade.

Example: Our computer name “MNPYTHDPC01-2ND” would show up on the release station as "Youth #1 - 2nd Floor"

6. Ability to have the popup start with a customizable document name or a blank document name. For example, if the popup already had "name your document here" in the text box, patrons would be more apt to erase it and change the document name to something they will understand at the release station.

7. Ability to allow free printing from certain IP address or computers on the network - right now it is limited to only certain URLs.
